We need an enthusiastic, hard worker to join our team, to provide admin support for our events and marketing team. The role would suit a recent graduate with an events related degree who is keen to start a career in events.

This role requires working closely with the Head of Events and two Events Coordinators on the delivery of all of BESA’s UK and International events (both in person and hybrid), including meetings, webinars, conferences, exhibitions and more. You will be playing an important role in a small, but hard-working and dedicated team which services one of the most important sectors in the UK, which is rapidly expanding its exports overseas.

Working closely with the events team to provide assistance on the end-to-end running of events: liaising with speakers, venues and suppliers, delegate communications, badges, creating event slides, agendas, floorplans and marketing the events.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude to join us.

 

You will:

  • Be organised and able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Be willing to learn and ask questions
  • Be a team player but able to work without constant supervision
  • Have a good standard of written and spoken English
  • Be familiar with Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Able to post content to social media and onto our websites
  • Any other duties commensurate with this role

The role will be split between working in our Shoreditch office and working from home.
