The State of Technology in Education is a report for educators, by educators. Promethean’s annual report comes straight from the feedback of school leaders and staff.

The report is the biggest and most influential in the education technology sector and every year insight is gathered from completed surveys to identify the gaps, opportunities and evolving trends in UK schools.

Here are some of last year’s findings:

• 62% say workload is contributing to high levels of stress in schools, but under 20% of schools are addressing it
• 13% more school leaders identified staff training as a funding priority than last year
• 94% say edtech can improve engagement and 72% think that behaviour could also be improved
• 25% more selected front-of-class technology as a key growth area in the next 1-3 years than last year
