The report found that spending is looking up in all four core spending areas at the primary level – including a promising uplift for both teaching aids and equipment and for that of furniture items. The secondary sector is also forecast to improve in 2018/19; however, growth is weaker with teaching aids and equipment looking static, while furniture could continue to see a further limited dip in spending.
