The UK ICT sector is beginning to come under spending pressure, with over a quarter of schools significantly downgrading ICT investments in 2016/17 compared to what was previously planned.

The data utilised in this report was gathered using an online survey, to a profiled selection of FE members of the National Education Research Panel (NERP). Data was compiled in February 2011.

A personalised invitation was sent to 224 subscribers. The questionnaire attracted 148 responses – 66% of the targeted schools and 12% of all the 1,223 schools within Independent Schools Council (ISC) membership.
