Join us for this second session with SchoolDash as we further examine how to use publicly available data to understand England's school system.
Following on from his introductory event in April, Timo Hannay, the founder of SchoolDash, will take deeper dive into the data, analyses and visualisations that can provide insights into England's school system. This will include:
- Types of data available, from test results to tweets
- Analytical approaches, from standard deviations to sentiment analysis
- Compelling visualisations, from column charts to cartograms
- Telling stories with data by combining text, charts and interactivity
As far as possible, the content will be tailored to the specific interests of attendees, who will be polled before the event.
