In this session, BESA Director Patrick Hayes will draw upon his decade of experience working at the Times Educational Supplement (TES) to give a seminar on the UK education market.

Aimed at the staff of member companies with less than two years’ of experience - and BESA Launchpad subscribers - operating in the education market. Patrick will give a primer on the key structures of the English school system, the national curriculum, assessment and accountability within schools – alongside emerging trends, such as the rise of the Multi Academy Trusts. The workshop also aims to help give participants a good working knowledge of the key government departments and agencies.
