Cambridge Worldwide Academy (CWA) served as the technical and academic partner for the establishment of the first British school in Tajikistan, a project developed in partnership with the son-in-law of the President of Tajikistan. Acting as a turnkey solution provider, CWA UK led the full set-up and operation of the new school, delivering both strategic oversight and hands-on implementation.

The scope of the project included working closely with local Tajik architects to design school buildings in accordance with the Cambridge Worldwide Academy UK brand and educational standards. CWA also supervised local construction teams, collaborated with Tajik and international firms to manufacture furniture to its specifications, sourced uniforms, equipped all school buildings, and implemented a dual curriculum that blends the British education model with elements of the Tajik national curriculum.

CWA was also responsible for securing school accreditation, recruiting staff, and launching operations on the ground. The nursery and primary school sections opened in September 2018, followed by the secondary school in September 2019.

CWA Tajikistan is housed in a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly campus and serves children aged 3 to 18. The school reflects a commitment to British educational excellence while embracing the strengths of the local context, offering a high-quality international education experience in Central Asia.
