Each term we release our latest Compass Report offering insights into school spending and budget priorities. Join us for a focus group where we will explore the findings of this terms' report and be joined by teachers who took part in the research, providing further insight and the opportunity for you to ask questions or seek clarification on those issues that are important to you.

Jason Gould – Managing Director of The Education Company
Jason co-founded The Education Company, an organisation that has been supporting education suppliers for over 30 years. The Education Company also provides data management, marketing, CRM and website solutions for many of the UK's leading education suppliers. Jason and his team have worked with BESA to design the Selling to Schools event. They have been supporting BESA members for over 30 years and have worked with BESA on many high-profile insight projects and training events.
Andy Buck - CEO of Leadership Matters
Author, speaker, former headteacher and director at National College, now the CEO of Leadership Matters, creator of the BASIC coaching model and founder of Cadogan Press. He is also chair of trustees at the L.E.A.D Academy Trust.
A geography teacher by trade, Andy went on to become a headteacher for thirteen years at two schools in east London. In his second headship, his school was judged outstanding and he was designated a National Leader of Education. In 2009, he was appointed as a director at the National College for School Leadership and in 2012 was made Managing Director at one of the largest academy groups in the UK. Andy has subsequently founded Leadership Matters which aims to improve the educational outcomes for pupils by supporting great leadership development.
He has written seven books on leadership and coaching, including the best-selling ‘Leadership Matters’. In 2018, Andy was invited to become a Founding Fellow of the College of Teaching and in 2019 he established a small independent publishing company, Cadogan Press.
