Cornucopia TV is a BETT award-winning film and video production company with two decades of experience in the UK and International education sectors. We have a reputation for authentic recording of professional practice and learning as well as creating broadcast quality content for students across all subjects and phases.
Cornucopia produces both factual and scripted content with in-house talent and facilities and a roster of highly skilled freelancers to address any educational brief. This includes web design and build as well as video production for broadcast, exhibition, short form online videos and long form immersive installations.
International examples include our films and web platform for the Open Society Foundations PERI initiative, with filming across three continents, and our series on the Mexican education system for the OECD, based on Pisa outcomes. In the UK, our ‘How To’ series for Tate has over 800,000 views on YouTube, and our films on the work of legendary garden designers Dan Pearson and Beth Chatto are now on permanent show at The Garden Museum in London.
Cornucopia TV meets the stringent requirements of broadcast, including all environmental, safety and diversity guidelines, and in addition to BESA membership, are members of PACT, the Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television. Cornucopia’s education productions include our well-known BBC EcoMaths series presented by Stefan Gates with episodes for KS1-KS3 maths, and the BBC Step-by-Step Dance series, featuring KS1 and KS2 pupil resources and teacher CPD videos plus extensive Teachers Guide.
Delivering for our clients is something we pride ourselves on, even within tight budgets or on a small scale, with the same attention to creativity and quality – meaning you can effectively outsource production to Cornucopia across multiple commissions. This approach is apparent in our production work for TES Global that includes courses produced for UCL, Barclay’s, WWF and the Education Endowment Foundation. Another recent example is our scripted English Language Teaching productions commissioned by ITN for Oxford University Press, with a cast of teenage vloggers and now in a second series.
As a specialist education producer, Cornucopia has built up an extensive network of schools, teachers, and academic institutions. This means we stay up to date and can address a wide spectrum of learning needs across all phases with particular expertise in professional learning. We are always happy to discuss your project, business or strategy towards education and look forward to a new challenge.
